28galaxy Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 wot causes your n/s front tyre on the out side edge to wear i,ve had the tracking done and wheels balanced, the other 3 are all fine no sign of uneven wear i,ve replaced bottom balljoint, droplink.shock, and the top mounting on top of the shock. Topbloke Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 you would need to get the tracking done with somebody whom could check the camber/caster angles, as i would bet that somthing is bent some where and this would show it up . I use a company called Pro-align they have franchises all over the place so you may be lucky and have one near you, tell them exactly what your problem is and they should point you in the right direction (pun intended ) Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I had my XR4X4's suspension set up by Pro-align, it made a lot of difference after it was all set up correctly  they had to to a cut'n'shut job on the rear end to get to line up correctly! but it made the ride and the handling so much better! iainkirk Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 I would say there are three main causes here: 1) roundabout2) 2.8 VR63) the nut behind the steering wheel  Quote
